By donating to Hope for the Rural Child Foundation you are investing in the future of the needy children and youth in Namasagali Sub-county, one of the areas with the highest school dropout rate in Uganda. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to fund projects and programs to secure the future of the needy children and youth in Namasagali sub-county.
The following are the programs and projects with their approximate costs. If you wish your donation to be allocated specifically please inform us in the comment section of the donation form.

Education sponsorship to orphans and other vulnerable children and youth
• For $100 dollars a term (3months) equivalent to $300 dollars a year you can transform the life of a needy child. The donation of $100 a term will enable us to enroll a needy child for primary education, providing him/her with uniform, shoes, books and other scholaristic requirements.

• For $150 dollars a term equivalent to $450 dollars a year you can support a needy child to attain secondary education. The $100 dollars a term enables to pay fees in a boarding section and also provide him/her with uniform, books, shoes and other requirements in addition to providing breakfast, lunch and supper.

Support to buy school furniture.
A child who sits on the dusty floor while in class is never comfortable to pick the lesson of the teacher. Help us to buy a desk. A 3 seater desk in Uganda costs about $25 dollars.

Support us to build a dormitory for girls.
From our experience we have discovered that girls who are day scholars are more prone to dropping out of school than those who stay in the boarding section of a school. A dormitory accommodating 50 girls can help a lot to contribute to the cause to of promoting girl child education in Uganda. The approximate cost for this project is $15000. We welcome any contribution towards this project.
