Hope For The Rural Child Foundation

About us

Hope for the Rural Child Foundation is a Community Based Organization registered  with Namasagali sub-county Local Government in Kamuli District in Uganda as a CBO under Reg. No NSC/200/2019. It was established in 2018 and operates in Namasagali sub-county.

Hope for the Rural Child Foundation supports the education of orphaned and other vulnerable children and youth in Namasagali sub-county, initiates other life changing opportunities for the disadvantaged children and youth and also undertakes interventions to support the development of the local community where the vulnerable children and youth live

Our target beneficiaries are orphans and other disadvantaged children and youth, teenage mothers, school dropouts, school going children and youth, community schools and the local community

Hope for the Rural Child Foundation envisions a society where former disadvantaged children and youth become agents for positive community change.

Our Mission.

Working for a better future for disadvantaged children and youth through providing educational support, initiating life changing opportunities for needy children and youth and also undertake other interventions necessary for the development of the local community where the vulnerable children and youth live.

Strategic Aims and Objectives

  • To create opportunities for needy children and youth who dropped out of school to go back to school.
  • To work with local community members, schools and other stakeholders and mobilize them towards addressing the education challenges in Namasagali sub county.
  • To promote girl child education by embarking on community sensitization and a door to door campaign.
  • To equip out of school youth with informal skills to enable them start income generating projects.
  • To address the poverty problem within the community which has made it difficult for children to attend school.
